Should donation to settlements be tax free?

Given the struggle connected to foreign funding of NGOs in Israel, the dilemma raised in the article below "Should donations to settlements be tax-free?" should be of interest to all of us.

In the recent policy paper "The Israeli Settlements and the Two State Solution" published by the Palestine-Israel Journal , one of the policy recommendations is to aspire to "dry up financial support to the settlement movement. NGOs that use tax-payers' money for funding activities that violate international law and, specifically, the Fourth Geneva Convention and the relevant UNSC resolutions should be prohibited by law from doing that, and should be subjected to legal prosecution as is the case with the funding or support of terrorist activities."

Should donation to settlements be tax free? (Forward)

Can tax-exempt donations in the United States be used to fund activities that run contrary to U.S. foreign policy?
